Welcome to the Café Linnalla in New Quay Co Clare, short listed in the top 10 places to eat in the west of Ireland by The Telegraph destination expert in 2015, voted one of the fifty secrets of the wild Atlantic way and Irish Times No 21 in 50 ways to go green. Our Café proud to be a part of the Burren Food Trail.
The Café is based just off the Flaggy Shore and is an ideal stop off point along the Wild Atlantic Way. The Flaggy shore is a mecca for walkers and is made famous by the poet Seamus Heaney in his poem “Postscript” where he says it “captures the heart off guard and blows it open”.
Our pathway connecting the café to the Flaggy shore gives you the choice of having your coffee and ice cream first and then taking in a walk along the flaggy shore or maybe you would prefer to exercise first and indulge later. Maybe you would prefer to sit with a coffee and an ice-cream cone and take in the spectacular views of Galway bay.
